Description

Bergenin is an isocoumarin isolated from various medicinal plants such as Ardisia japonica, Mallotus japonium and the roots of Fluggea microcarpa and luvangetin. It shows mild anti-HIV activity and has antihepatotoxic and antiulcer activity.
