Description

A parenteral carbepenem that exhibits antibacterial activities against a wide range of gram-positive and negative bacteria. Biapenem is also stable to human renal dehydropeptidase I (DHP-1), hence coadministration of DHP-1 enzyme inhibitor is not required.
