Description

A glucocorticoid steroidal anti-inflammatory agent used for the treatment of asthma, non-infectious rhinitis and nasal polyposis. Budesonide is also know to be a potent chemopreventive agent in mice by decreasing the size of lung tumors, reversing DNA hypomethylation and altering mRNA gene expression.
