Description

A bisbenzylisoquinoline alkaloid, purified from chinese medicinal herb. It acts as an immuno suppressant and a Ca +2 channel blocker. Tetrandrine also induces apoptotic cell death in human leukemic U397 and human leukemic HL-60 cells.
